Charlene Tess‘s latest novel, The Rebecca Bride, is available now from Amazon.com. It features detective Chico Martinez who also appeared in her debut romantic suspense novel, The Van Winkle Bride, published in 2001. Her second novel Accidental Angel, co-written with her sister, Judi Thompson, was released in December, 2002, under the pseudonym Tess Thompson. Charlene is also the author of Simple Steps to Sentence Sense which is widely used in classrooms throughout Texas.
Charlene retired to devote time to her own writing, after teaching English and creative writing to high school students and adults for thirty-four years. For two years after her retirement, she worked as an educational consultant. Charlene publishes Have You Heard?, a monthly collection of Texas author news, as a companion to the TCoA newsletter.
